Microsoft has revealed an exciting new feature coming to Edge that will revolutionize the way we watch videos online. The upcoming feature will allow videos to be translated or dubbed natively, enhancing the online viewing experience. Currently, Dutch is not supported, but users can expect a wide range of languages to be available.
Once the feature is fully rolled out, users will be able to enjoy real-time translations of videos on various websites. Microsoft has mentioned popular platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn, Reuters, and Bloomberg as being included in the translation capabilities. Initially, Edge will support translations from Spanish to English and vice versa, as well as translations to German, Hindi, Italian, Russian, and Spanish. Additionally, the browser will not only translate video content into text but also dub the spoken language using text-to-speech technology.
Building on this innovation, Microsoft also announced a comprehensive audio translation feature for Windows 11 during its annual Build developer conference. The tech giant continues to push the boundaries of language translation and accessibility, bringing cutting-edge features to its users.
