Gigabyte is set to introduce a three-year warranty coverage against burn-in for its QD OLED monitors, joining the ranks of ASUS and MSI who have already implemented similar guarantees. The warranty will cover Gigabyte's entire lineup of QD OLED gaming monitors.

According to a press release from Gigabyte, the company is extending the three-year warranty to all its monitors, including models such as CO49DQ, FO32U2P, FO32U2, FO27Q3, MO34WQC, and MO34WQC2. The warranty not only covers normal defects but also 'potential panel image retention issues', ensuring that the image will not burn in when displayed for extended periods on the QD OLED panel.

Gigabyte's move follows the footsteps of ASUS and MSI, who recently introduced similar warranties against burn-in. ASUS offers a two-year warranty while MSI provides a three-year warranty. Companies like HP and Alienware have also been offering such warranties for some time.
