Atlas VPN, a VPN service provider, has announced that it will be discontinuing its services on April 24. The decision, according to the company, was influenced by various factors such as heightened competition and increasing costs. As a result, customers will be transitioned to NordVPN, a service owned by the same parent company.
For current Atlas VPN users, a comparable NordVPN subscription will be provided for the remainder of their existing subscription period. Customers will receive an email from NordVPN prompting them to create a new account. It is important to note that these NordVPN subscriptions will not auto-renew. Subscribers who made purchases through the Apple App Store will see their subscriptions expire on April 25 and will be refunded accordingly. These particular customers will not be automatically transferred to NordVPN. On the other hand, Google Play and Amazon customers will receive a NordVPN subscription. Users who opt out of switching to NordVPN must contact [email protected] prior to April 22.
