Hello Games has recently rolled out update 4.6 for No Man's Sky dubbed Orbital. This update brings a host of visual enhancements, as well as significant changes to spaceships within the game. One notable feature introduced in this update is a tool that empowers players to create their own custom spaceships.
The official No Man's Sky website highlights that spaceships in the game have undergone a comprehensive overhaul and are now procedurally generated. The exterior of these spaceships has been revamped to showcase more intricate details and vibrant colors. Additionally, the interiors of the ships have been redesigned and expanded in some cases. These interior improvements aim to enhance player navigation within the game. Furthermore, in-game stores have been visually refreshed for better user experience.
Orbital also debuts the Starship Fabricator, a tool that enables players to craft and customize their own unique spaceships using reusable components. Players can now dismantle unwanted ships and repurpose the salvaged components. Hello Games, the developer behind No Man's Sky, has also revamped the start menu for a more visually appealing and consistent user interface. The lighting model and screen space reflections have also been refined for a more immersive gameplay experience.
The No Man's Sky 4.6 update is now live across all platforms where the game is available. Players can enjoy No Man's Sky on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One Series X and S, Nintendo Switch, as well as on PC through Steam and Xbox Game Pass, among other platforms.
